Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno asked related SKPD to anticipate weather anomalies that could trigger flood to occur.

A very large rain anomaly happened in Bogor

He said, one of anticipatory steps that need to be done is to prepare public kitchen. Especially in areas where usually flooded by overflowing Ciliwung River as happened on last Monday (5/21).

"Last Monday, we have distributed food for the victims to break the fast. We continue to monitor the situation and we will open public kitchen if water level rises," he stated at City hall, Tuesday (5/22).

He explained, Ciliwung River's water volume is increasing due to high rainfall in upstream area. Thus settlements in downstream are flooded in varying heights.

"A very large rain anomaly happened in Bogor. I receive the today's report that there is no evacuee for this case," he informed.
